Past tense vs Present perfect tense

Hello,Back again with me.This time I will explain what is past tense and present perfect tense.
Past tense
Past tense is a tense sentence used to express events that occurred in the past and have ended in the past. In contrast to the past continuous tense, which states events that occurred in the past, but are still happening in the present.
To form a simple past tense sentence, the formula is as follows
S + Verb 2 + O
In the simple past tense, the verb used is the second form of the verb. There are two types of verbs, namely regular verbs and irregular verbs. For regular verbs, add -ed / -d after the first form verb.
Present perfect tense
The present perfect tense is a tense which describes an event that occurred before a specific time in the past but still continues today. This tense consists of a combination of the perfect (before a specific past time) and the present (present) time frame.Used to show how long a period of time lasts.

Avriza : I have studied English since I was a child.

Avriza : Yes, but I'm still learning though. What about you Irgian? How long have you studied English?

Avriza: Are you enjoying it?
Irgian : Yes, I am.
Avriza : I went to an English club near my house, It was good.
Irgian : Ohh...did you? Where is it exactly?
Avriza : It's just two blocks away from my house.

In conclusion, the past tense and the present perfect tense are different, they cannot be the same, right
